Mom, I am sorry but I was overcome at the service and could not say much as I was choked up.
You were my best friend. I could talk to you about anything, no matter how big or how small. You seemed to find the funny of side of things no matter how serious. I could bounce ideas off you or talk about the trial and tribulations at Stannic. I could tell you about the good and bad things in my life. You never really gave constructive advise, instead you made me think things through for myself. You always stood by my decisions. So many times you were the wind beneath my wings were things were really bad. Thank you!
You go ahead and rest now. No pain, no worries. Just a wonderful life......reunited with our Dad. Tomorrow is the anniversary of his death. Tell him I love him. Youi take care of yourself.

For my Gran
You always said that a book could’ve been written on your life – and going by the stories you shared with us I’m sure it would’ve been a best seller. The kind you liked to read. You had a fierce energy and determinedness which never failed even when the odds seemed against you. I’m sure that’s where the rest of us girl’s get our independence from. You had a big heart and there was always plenty of love to go around when you were near – be it towards people or animals.
May the two generations that you leave behind inherit your charisma, your positivity and carefree nature. We love you very much and hope your new life in heaven is one without suffering and one that is filled with rest, peace and contentment. Thankyou for all the times you were there for us.

I did not have the opportunity to meet you Gran, but have heard so much about you through the lips of your close family and especially Nicole. Through these stories you have made me laugh and cry, and that's a powerful thing. I hope you rest where you are, because all the great things you did on earth must have made you tired.
